Laser Machine Marking
Laser was invented in the sixties. At first this invention was described as a solution in search o a problem, because they were not able to find any application for it. Nevertheless, the laser has found progresively more applications and uses. Nowadays is a powerful tool in many scientific, military, medical and industrial applications.
Specifically a laser marking machine is a device designed for laser marking. Normally a laser system consists on 2 different parts:
- Hardware part. It carries the laser beam generator
- Software part. You need usually a computer to send the proper orders and works to the laser beam generator.
In cases where physical alteration of a material surface by laser marking is not recommended, an suitable alternative can be marking without the use of laser. Marking here is a generic term that covers a broad spectrum of surfacing techniques, including printing and hot-branding. However, most of the cases laser marking machines are able to do marking that would have been done by other processes.
